I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve mistakenly let bloons leak when not paying attention to what round I was currently on and simply just let bloons with special properties pass because I didn’t save enough coins or place a tower preemptively to protect myself from later bloon rounds. Always remember to build your defense from the back of the track forward because as soon as your defense hits your delaying area (Ice or stalled ZOMG), your income stops. When it comes to playing any Bloons TD it can get confusing what Bloons have special defences. If you’re doing everything right, then Sniper Supply Drops produce more income than 4/2 Farms since it isn’t hard to get 4-5 Drops per round (if you’ve got about 15 Snipers dropping, then that’s about $60k per round). Once ZOMG become available, the best delaying strategy is to use the Overclock (x/4 Engineer) ability on a 4/1 Sniper under a 2/0 Village to completely stop a ZOMG. Ninjas are best since they can handle Moabs while pushing bloons back. ![]() It helps to use 4/2 Ninjas to blow thawed bloons back into the Ice area. An easy delay strategy is using multiple 1/1 Ice Towers to freeze bloons near the entrance (overlap their areas to permanently freeze bloons). ![]() Once you’ve got a 0/4 Sniper, your goal is to let their ability recharge often, so you must delay winning each round. 4/x Engineer Traps can help you get early money before switching to the Supply Drop strategy. Using Snipers for money requires practice and patience. Using Farms for money is straight forward enough to need no explanation. In BMC, there are only 2 farming methods for rounds after 30: Farms and x/4 Sniper Supply Drops. One of the main troubles bringing down DDTs is just getting enough money to produce a strong enough defense. Some high level towers have undocumented damage abilities, for example a 4/2 Ace (Specter) can kill DDTs without a Village (I think it’s the bombs doing damage, since it takes about 5 Aces without a Village, but only 2 with one), 4/x Mortar can work (poorly) while x/4 Mortar ability will stop DDTs for a short time, 4/x SuperMonkeys can see Camo, 4/0 Dartling can pop Lead, etc. You can remove the camo property of a DDT via CamoDust, Foam, or SignalFlare on Volcano tiles where Villages are banned (allowing 3/x or 2/x SuperMonkeys to target DDTs). Excellent Tier3 upgrade solutions for DDTs include 2/3 Snipers or 2/3 SpikeFactories. ![]() You could try cycling a 0/4 Wilard to produce several Phoenix. Consider using those tower abilities and then selling and remaking the tower to use the ability again (aka “Cycling” the ability, it usually costs about $1k, but it’s a great strategy). There are many alternatives, and notable ones include x/4 BombShooter ability (Assasssin – This works without camo detection), x/4 Buccaneer (Pirate – This even removes the camo regen ceramics that fall out of the DDT). ![]() The easiest way around those properties is to use towers that shoot many fast darts (missiles) and place them under an x/3 Village (MIB – this allows all missiles to hurt any bloon type). > does a x/3 or x/4 wiz work well? or even a 4/x ROF under a x/2 villi? And i also have Anti-Camo Dust. The 4/0 TackShooter (RoFire) is especially poor for Moabs and other blimps because the RoF only does one damage per attack, while a 3/0 TackShooter would do around 10 damage (if 10 of it’s 16 spikes hit the blimp).ĭDTs count as Black, Lead, Camo, and Moab class.
